American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

These donuts in Seaport Village are on a completely different level β truly the closest thing Iβve found in San Diego to real Polish pΔ czki. Theyβre soft, warm, perfectly chewy, and have that authentic, slightly yeasty richness that makes Polish donuts so special. The strawberry is unbelievable: bright, fresh, and not overly sweet, with that classic jamβfilled vibe that instantly feels nostalgic. And the Nutella? Ridiculous. It tastes exactly like the pΔ czki youβd get in Europe β rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced inside a pillowy donut that somehow stays light instead of heavy. The staff is always super friendly and patient, even when the line gets long. They make the whole experience feel like a treat, not just a stop for dessert. If youβre in Seaport Village β or honestly anywhere near downtown β these donuts are a must. Warm, authentic, and absolutely worth the hype!!!

To overrated in my humble opinion, to sweet and the marmalade or jelly feels and tastes very synthetic, not taking on consideration that the price is high for the quality of their goods, i would rather drive a little bit further and get different pastries if craving for sweets.

Lovely donut! The pastry? their dough? I'm not a huge pastry person so I'm not sure how to phrase it. But their bread is amazing. Makes all their donuts great, no matter the filing. I tried their bavarian creme donut, which is what I believe they're known for, as well as their dubai chocolate. Bavarian isn't overly sweet, which made it very enjoyable for me. The dubai chocolate was a little more on the sweeter side, but still was decent.

Worth the wait! Visited on a Sunday afternoon around 5pm and there were still many donuts to choose from. The line moved pretty quickly although it takes a little longer when people order drinks. We tried the Raspberry Bavarian cream donut and it was really tasty. Thereβs a window on the other side of the building where you can watch the donuts being made. Super fresh! The donuts are pretty large which makes them worth the price. I would recommend coming earlier in the day to see all of the flavors, but they still had a lot to choose from in the afternoon. Lots of places to sit and eat in Seaport Village. So good!

These donuts are not the traditional ones; they have a bakery-like taste and are quite large. The dulce de leche donut is particularly delicious. The cappuccino is also enjoyable.
